Skate Toronto offers Learn to Skate, Power Skating and Figure Skating Programs in Toronto throughout the year including the summer, winter, fall, and spring seasons at our locations in North York, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, Thornhill and Mississauga. Our learn to skate, power skating and figure skating programs in Toronto are usually between 8 weeks and 12 weeks long depending on the location and type of skating program. All of our learn to skate, power skating and figure skating programs are taught by professional and certified figure skating and power skating coaches. Learn to Skate Lessons in Toronto
Our learn to skate programs in Toronto offer skaters the basics of skating to more advanced and skilled skating elements during the year. The Skate Toronto learn to skate program has six levels where skaters learn skating skills including forward skating, backward skating, gliding, stopping and turning. Classes are taught in small groups of about 6-8 skaters to coach ratio so that skaters can progress through these levels at an efficient rate. The Skate Toronto learn to skate program is offered for tots, children, youth and adults so everyone can join in the fun during the winter and summer! Once a skater has completed level six of the learn to skate program they can continue on to the Junior Figure Skating program where they can learn introductory figure skating elements or our Power Skating program where they can learn more advanced techniques for hockey.
Figure Skating Lessons in Toronto
Skate Toronto offers both the Junior figure skating and Intermediate figure skating programs in Toronto during the winter and summer seasons at selected locations in Etobicoke, Mississauga, North York, Scarborough, Thornhill and Richmond Hill. During our figure skating classes, in Toronto, skaters can learn basic to more advanced figure skating elements including jumps, spins, stroking, off-ice classes and edges. Our figure skating programs during the year prepare students for ice dance, freestyle and interpretive tests at the Preliminary and Junior Bronze levels. The Skate Toronto figure skating programs are usually held during our skating sessions at our Richmond Hill, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke locations. Our figure skating programs are usually 9 to 14 weeks long depending on the season and location.

Power Skating Lessons in Toronto
Skate Toronto offers a Power Skating program for those skaters that have completed the learn to skate program and are interested in improving their skills for joining a hockey league. Our power skating programs in Toronto have three levels for skaters to complete and offer lessons in advanced crossovers, turns, speed skating, control and stopping skills.
